Welcome to the Pennant Hills Physiotherapy Centre: Covid-19 Update 1/4/2020
COVID 19 – WE ARE OPEN AND HERE TO HELP
Physiotherapy practices have been encouraged by the Federal Government to continue working.
Pennant Hills Physiotherapy Centre is open and committed to taking great care of our clients when they attend our practice.
We are also offering phone consultations for a small charge and now have telehealth options.
These consultations are currently bulk billed with Medicare only if you are on an EPC plan that you doctor has arranged.
Telehealth treatments for NSW workers’ compensation clients are now covered, subject to insurer approval.
If you have private health insurance some insurers will pay a rebate, from 14th April onwards, subject to certain conditions. We will let you know these when they are confirmed.
Please ring to discuss these options on 94846300.
Our infection control practices include:
· Providing hand sanitiser as clients enter and exit the practice.
· Separate waiting areas.
· Only one physiotherapist working at a time to reduce traffic in the clinic.
· Wearing face masks, gloves and gowns.
· Using individual head hole covers, pillowslips and towels for each patient.
· Increased cleaning of surfaces, door handles, arm rests, face holes, desks, and pens.
· Cleaning hands between transactions at the front desk.
We are no longer accepting cash. Cheque, credit and debit cards and direct deposit are available.
In addition, we have now removed all common reading material from the waiting room.
As you would be aware, the Government is requiring that anyone who returns from overseas from midnight on 15 March 2020, will be required to self-isolate in their home for 14 days.
Please do not attend the practice if you are experiencing any signs of illness.
If you are feeling unwell or have any flu like symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat or runny nose, you will be able to cancel your appointment at short notice without penalty. We also insist that our staff take sick leave if they have any signs of virus or infection.
Please give us a call us 94846300 to discuss how we may be able to assist you.
